Read-One-Book-A-Month Resolution

At the beginning of the year I made the resolution to read at least one book each month. I planned out each book to go along with holidays, seasons, and things that I have planned. And I wanted to share my list with you guys so here it goes!

January – The Help by Kathryn Stockett – 5 stars!

February – The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey (didn’t end up reading this one but replaced it with Everything But the Posts by Becca Ludlum to get me ready to start blogging. I still want to read it though.)

March – Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walters

  •  Picked up The Fault in Our Stars instead. So far so good but I didn’t finish it before the month was over. But hey that’s why they call it a goal, right? So you can keep trying till you do what you mean to do? Right?

April – The Infinite Atonement by Tad R. Callister

May – Flow by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi

June – The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

July – The Giver  by Lois Lowry

August – How Will You Measure Your Life? by Clayton Christensen

September – Mary Queen of Scots (might have to read this one sooner, I’m obsessed with Mary right now)

October – Meek and Lowly by Neil Maxwell

November – Austenland by Shannon Hale

December – Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis

So there you go. I’ll update you on my progress and let you know which ones I recommend. Let me know which books you recommend. This list is not set in stone so if you guys give me something better I might have to kick out or add to the ones I have.

I love reading!

PS.  Here’s a cute picture of Porter. Hopefully he’ll see how much I love to read and he’ll love it too.
